Reserve Calistoga Cabernet Sauvignon

While grilled red meats are the most classic pairing for cabernets, a hearty fish like swordfish is another great match. Swordfish has a chewy, meaty consistency that stands up to the opulence of the wine but also a light flavor profile that makes it a canvas for the wine’s palate to shine. Our Reserve Calistoga Cabernet Sauvignon is rich and showy with a deep purple hue. Aromas of dark fruit lead to a palate of ripe blackberries and cherry cola that will interplay beautifully with the subtle notes in the fish.

Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon

The Rutherford AVA is known for imbuing cabernets with rich texture, tannins and bittersweet notes of black tea and mocha. Our take on the classic Rutherford cab has these characteristics alongside a pleasing fresh acidity. Push the boundaries of your palate when you pair it with grilled venison. The gamey and savory flavors in the meat play off the bittersweet notes in the wine, while the lightly acidic palate balances everything out.

Yates Family Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

This cabernet is sourced exclusively from the Yates Family vineyard on Mt. Veeder—one of Napa’s most unique AVAs. It’s in the southernmost end of Napa and has a cooler climate and volcanic soils. These unique conditions produce cabs that are wonderfully well-balanced and full of bright red fruit flavors. Go for the most classic of pairings and try the Yates cab with grilled steak. Both are instant favorites on their own but together create something truly special.
